I have a finely tuned .procmailrc file for filtering all of my email. Spam goes to spam, mailing lists go to respective folders etc. Only a select few messages make it to my inbox. I also have it set up to read out loud the sender and subject of each email that arrives in using the Festival speech synthesizer. My lab mates have caught on to this and are starting to have some fun at my expense.
